My Favorite Companies
This page features my favorite products and companies, mostly small businesses. These are products I personally use or companies I do business with. Please note I am not associated with them or responsible for them; I am only their customer. Your experience with them may be different than mine; I am only sharing my own experience. This is a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly laundry soap powder. I use it for all laundry from delicates, wool, bedding, towels, etc. The laundry booster is so helpful for when deeper cleaning is needed. I simply add it along with the laundry soap. Both work in cold water, which is a plus. A small business.
I’ve been buying yarn and knitting tools here since 2003. The quality of the yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and supplies have all been excellent. The customer service is stellar as well. They also have a website devoted to crochet. A small business.
This company has been around since 1975 and offers herbs, spices, pure essential oils, tea, and more. I use a lot of their marshmallow root powder to make conditioner for my hair. A small business.
This company makes pure essential oils and a wide variety of carrier oils. They also make soap bases, which I’ve never tried as I don’t make soap. They have great prices and various sizes available. A small business. Link to their website.
This company makes minimalist makeup and skincare products. They are plant and clay based products. Also totally plastic free. I’ve tried all their products and currently use most of them. A small business. Link to their Etsy shop.
This company makes organic and OEKO-TEX certified bamboo bedding. A small business.
I’ve been shopping at Pet Supplies Plus for years. They have supplies for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, small pets, and fish.
These soaps are made with organic ingredients and are unscented/fragrance-free. (The only smell is, for example, the ones made with cocoa butter have the natural smell of cocoa butter.) There is a good variety to pick from and even some lotion too. All made by a Doctor. A small business. Link to his shop on Etsy: Dr. Stamler’s Soaps.
Elliot at 3DNovi did some custom 3D printing for me. He had great customer service and did excellent work! Click here for his Etsy shop.
This is one of the affiliate programs I belong too. It’s been easy to use and the customer service has been great. It’s so convenient as well to work with various companies through one account.
I have been with Weebly since 2014. I designed both of my websites with them, which are still active today. I really appreciate how easy they make it to design and maintain a website. Basically just drag and drop design elements. I do most of the work on my websites with their app, but for things like a footer, working in a browser is necessary. They also have great help articles and additionally have answered my messages in a timely manner.

Etsy has so many wonderful small businesses. I always try to check first for a small business/individual making a product I need.
